I can't tell you if yours will work, but we often build and test systems
before moving them to colocation.

You don't need a fixed IP#; all you need to do is create a private
network at home using private address space.

In fact, if you're not connecting the to the Internet at all, you can
use the same IP#s to test your RaQ at home as you will at colocation.

The one "gotcha" you must remember is to set the gateway address before
taking the system to colocation.  The gateway address is unnecessary on
your home network, but if you don't set it when you put the system into
colocation, the Internet won't be able to see you.
