It's for any software in Sun Cobalt PKG format and created to run on your
Qube 2.  If your vendor has a PKG file for the Qube 2 you can install via
the GUI.  Otherwise try convincing them to create a PKG file for you.

I've created a number of PKGs myself - it's not that difficult for an
experienced admin who knows how to create RPMS, scripts and use basic *nix
commands.
