[cobalt-users] Is there a simple way of resizing images anyone can suggest

Hi all,
Can anyone suggest a simpler way of resizing images - just .jpgs - that a
user would upload to a site, that does not require anything like the
functionality of ImageMagick.
All I need to do is resize the image, retaining the aspect ratio & quality
that it was taken at, be that good or poor!
It needs to be capable of running, invisibly to the user, on a Raq4i - just
as a background process when they submit the form that includes the picture.

If there is another forum where advice of this type could be asked any
suggestions would be gratefully received!
