Presumably someone will forward this post back to the list so that
jb@surfbaud and others who use xbl.selwerd.cx can read it...

My mail originates from my machine on my ISP. I do NOT use their email
server, I use my own, on an address that has never been reported
anywhere as a spamhost or spam-relay. My mail-server forwards it to the
list server. The list server then forwards it on to you.

If you choose to block based on the ISP that gives me the last mile,
then there's NOTHING I can do to get through to you. perhaps
xbl.selwerd.cx would like to put large ISPs out of business?

Perhaps they'd suggest I pay $1,000 a month so I can send email from
home?

Anyone who chooses to block on the originating IP# to the machine,
knowing that it's in an aDSL block with DHCP allocation, is just being
foolish. Blocking on the mail-server is fine. So is my mailserver.
