Majordomo is a great package, and runs very well under linux. I've got
it running on lots of generic Linux boxes (including RH7.x) and lots of
RaQ3s and RaQ4s. It's simply a matter of installing it so it works on
the server in question.
Many of us don't have the luxury of running a separate server because we
need mailing list capability.
Of course Majordomo doesn't have it's own web-interface, has severe
problems with 'mime', especially in digests, and doesn't know how to
create web-based archives.
That's why I'm considering Mailman.
