Isn't streaming through port 80 or http streaming considered sudo-streaming
and does not require the QT server (although I'm sure for true streaming
over p80 it is necessary) as to port 554 and port 7070 these are QT's
default UDP and RTSP port settings. As I understand it there would be no
major client setup to do as these ports are generally used for streaming by
Media Player, Real Player and QT Player.
Unlike on the OS X server the Darwin-QT server is made to install and
function along side the existing web server (i.e. Apache) on non-Macs, not
to replace it. I don't think the conf file should be an issue but I would
like to here more about this and other server issues.
Thanks for your input Glenn,
Fernando

Hello Fernando,
Here's my take:
I have not run this server on a RaQ. I have run it on an OS X Server, Dual
800Mhz PowerMac.
If you want to stream over port 80, I would suggest you will have real
problems with the RaQ due to the way the Cobalt rewrites config files, and
pecifically the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file.
The Cobalt keeps the Apache server running (It was designed to be an Apache
web server by default. You cannot turn it off and you may/may not be able
to change that port.
If you run on UDP port 554, you should be okay, but your clients *might*
have problems setting up their Quicktime client.
Things to consider and the Apache comment for others to comment on.
Glenn
