Re: [cobalt-users] Processor Temp. on a 3i / 4i

A while ago we had both fans fail in our raq4. Temp. registered for a brief
while at 87 deg. Cel. and then settled between 53 - 57 deg, with both fans
replaced its now 33 deg. This is for a raq in full rack - sitting on top of
some "HOT like a hair dryer" dual cpu 1U HP boxes.

We also had a raq 4i on a table which we use for testing (we are tying to
build a analog / report magic based .pkg) we took the fans out for fun and
ran it for a day - we got up to about 54 deg. with the fans and almost no
load, its 29 deg steady for 9 days. As far as I can tell the HD is cold, I
am sure its not sleeping... The air coming out of the fans is cool as well.

We are going to simulate some heavy traffic and see what the temp is like.
