I get sshd dead but subsys locked when I check the status.
Any ideas?

You just install and it works. We use the OpenSSH package several
times, no problem. There is no administrative setting in the admin for
SSH, at least on our RaQ3/4's. You turn off Telnet in the GUI control
panel, which still allows you to turn on shell access for sites/users.
Comment out the Telnet service in /etc/services and reboot.
Is SSH running? Type '/etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd status'. If so, what is
the error you get when trying to connect.
