I've only had two clients who've run StaQware. StaQware is transparent and
it worked as promised for one client. The other eventually had a drive
failure in one box and a problem with the other box and so their sites went
down until resolved. That wasn't StaQware's fault, though.

You have to do your own cost/benefit analysis. If limiting downtime is
critical then you'll want to implement a backup or replacement solution of
some kind. Especially if you handle a lot of high revenue ecommerce. But
that could mean having a box of spare fans, drives, etc. and your own
combination of mirroring and manual backups. I can't tell you whether a
second RaQ and StaQware makes sense for your situation; I don't even know
what it is. But at a minimum you should have some sort of tested
backup/recovery system that you're comfortable with and an appropriate
security solution...and StaQware is not a security solution.
