You mean register.com points your domain to your Cobalt machines,
and you (still) use the two DNS on the Cobalt machine ?
This is not the case when you use DNS like that of zoneedit.com
that way one does not need a DNS or MX record set on the server.
What can be a cause for large file (mail attachments and others)
download timeouts from a Cobalt machine ? I have the problem
using a router with NAT to the world.
Does the Cobalt machine have some MTU setting somewhere?
Could it be some kind of black hole router problem?
The router uses MTU 1500. I've tried using MTU 1420
but to no avail.
The downloads start, but they slow down and come to a stand still
after a few percent of the download.
Note that I never had this problem before installing the latest patches,
I can't point out which one it could be. Perhaps the OpenSSH is to blame?
