But like everything else in the IT world, I suppose there are times when
things will function differently then designed.

Robert,  I'd be interested in knowing if your Raq4r rebuilds the mirror
after every reboot.

I dunno, I have one loaded now with a Seagate that is a little smaller
than the one added, Maxtor. The 4r software loaded without error and
mirroring was established within about 30 minutes and RAID currently
reporting OK in the GUI. Am I being fooled by a Cobalt GUI? Is there a
command prompt way to tell?

They are both 5400RPM, though:)
