I love my SMC Barricade, Steve. I use it at home with dynamic IP, and
just "knows" how to do PPPOE, and how to log in to my SBC aDSL line.
But if/when I upgrade to static IP (considering it now) I'll certainly
put the switch between the Barricade and the "modem" (DSL modems aren't
really modems' they're really bridges, used to bridge to dissimilar
networks), and that'll be my DMZ.
