Hi,

I did that, but unfortunately your solution didn't help here, and yes, I
have this slow connection-start with every file :-(

I tried in my CuteFTP the following: force RFC compliant PASV mode, but I
saw no speeding up... PTR records are also setup'ed alright, I think. I have
no firewall here at home, but maybe my provider where my server is located
is indeed slow opening up a port... I give up for now! :-)
