It's handled, as you would see in an archive search for domain without
www, by the rewrite rule.
It doesn't prevent anyone from accessing a site as http://domain.com/
but it does prevent wasted bandwidth because of the way browsers cache
images. If someone visits domain.com and then www.domain.com they will
download all files again instead of using their cache.
