That is elegant.
I happen to be in my data center, and we use our Internet nameservers for the
work stations so we never had a problem with new sites.
I never thought of suggesting such use to others, for esolving new sites.
I would think your clients could add your DNS server in their list of
nameservers.
You can put in more than one in windows (I think) been a while since I used M$
