The result of "strings /usr/sbin/imapd" shows that it contains *both*
strings "Login user=" and "Authenticated user=".  I'm guessing the
different messages are due to different connection "types" by different
mail clients, etc. (I use Netscape Communicator 4.79 as my default mail
client...)

I will still pass this on as a "bug" to be investigated/patched.
