Straight or reverse serial cable, Bruce?

That's not what I recall, historically, Bruce.
I remember that the RaQ4s included APC software.
Not that I'm disagreeing, just wondering where I got that idea from.
So you're saying that I DO need to write a shutdown script for each
machine, or I would otherwise? You've got me confused.

I'd think you'd want to start a minute or three early and send warning
console messages (the shutdown program does this automatically when you
give it a time for the shutdown).
