I'm sure it is. My understanding is that the drive is bootable; you
just have to move it to be the primary drive on the primary IDE channel.
Presuming that's true, and presuming I probably will want to replace a
bad drive as quickly as possible, I think when I have a hard-drive
failure I'll bring a new drive with me to the colo room, and move the
working drive to IDE channel 1 primary, then install the new one, and
reboot the system.
That should work.
Or am I missing something?
