I've been doing it through the GUI by browsing my HD here and uploading
through that. It's about 50% of the way through the 3rd attempt so if this
fails I will try your solution of putting it in /home/packages.

As an aside, I am getting nervous about the number of messages where people
have installed this PKG and then had quite serious problems. In fact, some
of the problems that people get in general worry me. Is this where people
have been dabbling or is there a real problem. I do almost nothing to my
server apart from install the odd PKG and it has (touch wood) been 100%
reliable. I would hate for this to change due to tryng to add another
little toy to it.
