Well, as a matter of fact, I've restored 6 RaQ3's to the RaQ4 OS tonight in
the past 2 hours. So I hope you're wrong. <g>
You can restore a RaQ(1) hardware to a RaQ2 OS, they have similar hardware
and both use a MIPS processor. Likewise with the RaQ3/4 or RaQ3i/4i, the
hardware is identical except for a 300Mhz processor vs. a 450.
Note, whenever advertising/selling/referring to a RaQ, ALWAYS use its
original factory hardware configuration. A RaQ3 is a RaQ3 is always a .....
RaQ3.
As far as your RaQ goes, you can upgrade to the RaQ2 OS. There may be an
extra step or two required, check the archives as I haven't done that
particular restore.
