Also in AU, the best we could do was as above with MRTG and PHP script.
Only thing to note there is that you can only get an incoming amount per
IP address. This is the best we could do without purchasing expensive
hardware.
So we put clients on their own IP for a couple of months...track their
usage and then bundle all the low usage sites onto one IP. Regular
bandwidth offenders get their own IP. Customers with multiple sites get
one IP for all and we deduct their monthly bandwidth allowance from the
total usage (ie. 2xsites = 200Mb incoming, additional bandwidth charges
= total usage - monthly allowed bandwidth for no. of sites customer
has).
