Things change, it may be the client not the server. Is it slow from everyplace
you connect from, or only one place (ip.ad.re.ss)

You should see errors in /var/log/maillog (name may be wrong)
gethostbyaddr() 
another test might be to ssh/telnet into the qube and perfom
dig ip.ad.re.ss
where ip.ad.re.ss is the adress of the client you are having trouble with.
