[cobalt-users] Installing PHP 4.1.2 w/o OS update?

Thanks PkgMaster.com team,

Just a question; as you know OS Update 2 has been causing a bit of trouble 
and some of us decided not to install until a more refined version was 
completed.
Now, the new PHP release has as prerequisite this OS update.
What would happen if I install it without the OS update?
