Better to be proactive than reactive. Install IPCHAINS before you *need*
IPCHAINS. Take some time to get comfortable with it and in order to prevent
yourself from being locked out accidentally consider setting up a cron job
to run periodically which flushes all existing rules, thus letting you back
in.
