Actually, I was only responding specifically to Dan; I thought I could
clarify how to tell if a username > 8 characters was causing a problem.
Generically.

It would tell us that the username was NOT an issue, which was Dan's
point, or so I thought.

Several points here <smile>...

I was only responding to Dan's post concerning the username ambiguity.

I use Netscape which is pretty good at threading, I use the threaded
view, and I usually (except when I forget) read all the replies visible
in the Netscape list-view before I reply myself.

Thanks <smile>. As busy as I am, I have gone back to reading the list
several times a day. I hope I can keep it up.

But in spite of that, I still don't always see the replies. Another
issue is the list manager doesn't always get posts to us in the order in
which they were made <frown>.
