For safety sake, is it considered advisable to take a copy of the hard
drive just in case something bad goes wrong that it replicated onto the
second mirrored disk? If so, is it simply a case of whipping out the
secondary drive and replacing it with an unformatted drive? Will it
automatically setup the RAID or do I need to do something else?
I have a second 4R sitting in the same cabinet at my colo doing nothing.
I would appreciate someone giving me a hand in doing what is considered
to be a safe backup of data onto the second RaQ.
Thanks
