[cobalt-users] MS SQL Server 7 Thoughts (OT)

Hey list,
This might be OT, but I have spent quite a while searching the MS site and
this archive and google, and where ever else I can think of, but can't seem
to find an answer, so maybe one of you gurus out there might know what I can
do..

The problem is this:
We have a W2K box with MS SQL Server 7 on it, and we are accessing it using
ASP pages and Chilisoft on our RaQ4r appliance.. Well, when ever we reboot
the W2K server or stop and start the SQL Server, we get the following error
in our browser for any pages accessing the database...:

*********** BEGIN ERROR *************

ADODB.Recordset.1 error '80004005'

SQLState: 08S01
Native Error Code: 11
SQLState: 01000
Native Error Code: 32
[MERANT][ODBC SQL Server Driver][libssclient15]ConnectionWrite (send()).
[MERANT][ODBC SQL Server Driver][libssclient15]General network error. Check
your network documentation.

*********** END ERROR *************

This will happen for several minutes after restart even.. This is annoying
as it affects users of web sites that are in the middle of, say an online
order.. Maybe you guys and gals can point me in the right direction,
because it seems no matter which way I go, I am hitting a wall, and my head
is starting to hurt.. :)
