AW: [cobalt-users] root access

As i figured out, you cant get root if you log on as a user different than
admin.

You must be logged in first as admin user and su then to root

on all our machines this happens:

1.
log in as "someuser"
su to root - wont work (password error)

2.
log in as "someuser"
su to admin (works)
su to root (doesnt work - password error)

3.
log in as "admin"
su to root (works)

Can anyone tell my WHY Point 1 and 2 dont work?
