This doesn't seem to be the problem:

Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1             726M  507M  219M  70% /
/dev/hda3             194M   13M  181M   6% /var
/dev/hda4             6.7G  715M  6.0G  10% /home

any other sugestions?
