No, these threads usually have some substance come from them.
Among others, Jeff and I pointed out that it's the FTP protocol
that can't handle name-based virtual hosting. IIRC, I've made
reference to PostgreSQL's use of multi-version concurrency, which
is an interesting topic of its own. Jeff mentioned the license
issues and how to score a deal on 2000 if interested.
Hmmmm. Alas, it is getting a bit archive-unfriendly. Kudos to
you for forking. Probably not much useful that's left to say
that can't be said sans flame war. No more NT/Unix/trollfood
posts for me in this volley. I'll take the public plea for
sanity as a hint.
