DNS propogation?

I have an edited "hosts" file on my windows box (just add ip and domain at
the end of the file xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx www.domain.com) which allows me to
access via http etc a domain immediately it has been set up on the raq, long
before any DNS propogation takes place... both my raq2's also run as
nameservers though.. this way I can even access "fake" domains created at a
whim for testing purposes....  do a trace on the domain to see of it
resolves anywhere www.samspade.org
