Hello,
I've a very weird problem with my Cobalt RaQ3. All patches are applied
since they came out.
Apache is compiled with php-4.1.1 via apxs. We have several cobalt boxes
installed this way, all with the same compile options.
Since last sunday the httpd process reached the MaxClient setting and made
all Virtual hosts un-accesible. When I reboot the server, or just restart
the service, the same problem occurs within minutes..
I did many hours of extensive testing and found out that when I disabled
#LoadModule and #Addmodule for php4 then my problem disappeared. The server
is running fine now since three days. But I need to enable PHP again. I
tried to install latest php-4.1.1 (last was 4.1.0) but without result.
I already tried to increase MaxClient to 256, and startservers also but this
also didn't help.
Can someone help me with this weird problem?
Regards,
Lao
