Yes, there are 2 options.
1: Remove the harddrive from the unit, and connect it to another *nix box.
Mount /var and clean it.
2: Connect a console cable to serialport 1, and reboot. When it says "Press
space for ??" press space.
Then type boot, you will go to the boot menu. Then type: set_params
"single", then type: bfd and the unit will boot in single usermode.
And you will get a simple rootshell. Then cleanout the /var, and reboot.
Whoop, back in business :)

Cobalt site and the suggestions they have is a OS restore...
Is there ANY other way to go in and clean var out so that su can log back
in???
