I posted a response to you on the WebHostingTalk forum. Here's what I said:
Hi again, :)
Simply put, you won't add the MX record on your RaQ as that is definitely
part of the DNS service.
If you want to hand mail service for a particular domain,
www.customerdomain.com
and you've used the registrar's DNS to point www.customerdomain.com to your
IP, then do the following:
On your RaQ, under 'site settings' for the customer's site, in the mail
server field, put:
www.customerdomain.com, customerdomain.com
and then in the registrar's DNS control panel, for an MX record, put:
customerdomain.com
with a distance (priority) of 0 (zero).
Your RaQ should then handle mail service for customerdomain.com
Hope this helps,
Brandon
(By the way, which registrar do you use?)
