Got me to thinking, so I did the command suggested.. got this.
[root /]# netstat -an| grep LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:25 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:80 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:22 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:143 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:110 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:81 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:444 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
unix 0 [ ACC ] STREAM LISTENING 416 /tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432
I know what all of them are and have them either open or closed via
ipchains, with the exception of that last one.. What ta heck is
/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432??
Don't tell me, let me guess.. it's a cobalt thing??
