Hi,
This question has never been fully answered on this forum, so its worth
trying again.
We run ColdFusion 5.0 on a server - RaQ 4r. However, ChiliASP cannot
function alongside CF5. I saw somewhere that the solution might have
been to move the loadmodule for chiliasp to the top of the list in the
httpd.conf file, but that did not work.
Does anyone out there have a Raq with both ChiliASP and ColdFusion
working at the same time?
On a separate note. ColdFusion 5.0 professional does not have any
support for Oracle or Interbase through the administrator. However, it
is possible to update the odbc.ini file to access Interbase using an
opensource Interbase driver and I have done this successfully for a
customer. My question is, has anyone managed to create an Oracle
datasource successfully in the CF5 odbc.ini that uses the Oracle 8.1.5
driver that comes with ChiliASP (i.e. costs nothing).
This would avoid upgrading ColdFusion to the enterprise edition which
costs about three times as much.
Any help appreciated.
Regards,
Larkin
