Ok, now look there can only be one index.html file in a directory!!! You can't have your index.html and the RaQ default index.html
LOL... <sorry for laughing!> But this is funny. Last night I got a call from someone hosted on my server, they had been trying to replace an index.html file that they had corrected a spelling error on, for over two hours and were at their wits end.
I was logged on and navigated to his site and watched as he said he was uploading the file
ls -alcThe file in question in the folder he was *trying* to upload to had not been changed in almost exactly two hours. I renamed it and told him to upload again.. No joy.
I went to his site and lo and behold, there was the file in question, now sitting as his main webpage when it was supposed to be located several folders deeper in the site..
I told him.. Always look at both panes (he uses WSFTP) <yea, I know, insecure..> and make sure that he's always to the right of /web and that the left pane matches the right pane with "whatevermirrorfolder" on his home drive replacing /web on his server.
I've made similar mistakes and fiddled for a while before my tired eyes caught the error..
BUT.. I've also had to set my test copy of Netcrap to no cache, including memory cache. That thing will drive you crazy trying to see changes!
