[cobalt-users] Amavis: Required Programs

Wanted to make sure before I completed the install of Amavis. I apologize in
advance forthe length of this post. In the installation instructions it
states "be sure all required programs have been installed".

Are they referring to a virus engine? (have installed LinuxAVP engine from
Kapersky)
or, Are they referring to the available decompressors, and if so which files
should I install?
The reason I ask is I downloaded the related files and perl libraries RPM's
from http://rmrpms.tripod.com/amavis/ and some of the RPM's installed fine
while others errored stating that a prior version document already resided
there. The RPM's from this site are listed below...

So, I hope I didn't unwittingly mess something up. Still fairly newbie! Any
ideas. Anyone have a smooth installation of Amavis and would care to share
some notes. Am I overkilling here? Do I really need all of these additional
libraries? Does anyone know if I may have caused any potential problems by
upgrading these libraries?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the length of this post!?! :)

Best regards,
