The other more secure way is to assign users for every account. A
necessary step if you plan on using the e-mail forwarding function to
send all of your e-mail from different sites to a single box or
grabbing 'webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxx' for the sites you manage.

When creating the usernames use a standard convention like the first
six letters of the first word in the domain name plus the first 3
letters of the second word followed by the domain extenuation (not
what I use, duh)

If you manage a large number of the sites yourself you can make the
password the same for all of them which makes posting the sites one
step easier.

Make all of the passwords eight characters long with upper case
letters, lower case letters, numbers and special characters.

Just another brick in the firewall.

I manage about 170 sites and this system makes it very easy keep track
of usernames and passwords.

Best of luck,

Tim
