Re: [cobalt-users] Aliases work bar one site

On Fri, 4 Jan 2002 19:29:16 +0800, HostMaster mumbled something like:

Most likely you've forgotten to enter the aliases into the DNS.
Make sure you have proper A records set up for each alias pointing to
the IP of the main site.

If it's a RaQ4 (you didn't say), make sure you have the aliases
properly entered in the "Web Alias" field in the Site Settings.

If all else fails, go in through a shell as root and edit
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
Just put in the aliases within that site's VirtualHost entry the same
way you see it done in the other VirtualHost entries. Make a note
that if you change the 'site settings' for this site in the GUI, your
custom changes will be erased.

For more info on how to do this without them getting erased, do a
search in the archives on how to place an include file in httpd.conf.

Have fun!
