Hi all and happy new year!
I purchased a new mobile phone over the xmas period and had a nightmare of a
time persuading it to sucessfully send/retrieve email from our RaQ4i
webserver. Eventually I tracked the problem down to the phone INSISTING on
utilising APOP authentication.
Unfortunately in the office I run a Windows PC with Outlook Express which,
for some reason or another, MS has not added APOP support to. Current status
is I can either enable APOP on the server and connect via the phone, or
disable it and connect through the office.
The question (naturally) is: can the APOP authentication be set to "fail
over" to regular POP if initial secured authentication fails??
Many thanks in advance.
