This all started as a can you, which I answered as a no longer SunCobalt
employee from an educational point of view - yes you can but you might/will
yada yada.

I think if you read between the lines of what some of the people on this
thread have said you will see that some of it is tongue in cheek or maybe
you do want to discuss it further with the Sun lawyers I do believe they
have lots, some of whom may be wishing to do something demonstrative so that
their boss notices them bringing in revenue/naughty customers etc so that
they avoid the next round of cuts if there is one.

Lets leave this warranty stuff - we all know that Sun have gone back on
Cobalts word on the warranties and unless someone is going to put their
money where their mouth is and take them to Court, you guys in the US have
far better methods than in Europe lets get on with the knowledge.
