Yes, I had the same. I looked into TOP for a while, and (before finding
out that it was totally normal for httpd) saw <defunct processes of
Apache. I figured that it was time for a reboot (I had some other probs
as well). After that everything works perfect again!

How do you think I found out? :)) I monitor my RAQ with that tool, for
a large part that is. It's perfect is checking out the most vital
things.
