Get him moved from NetSol as fast as possible. I still have two
domains being held hostage by them and have no idea if I will ever get
them moved to my server. They have become notorious for dirty tricks.
The client will save money in the long run. If I were you, I'd even
pay the fee to another registrar for them if necessary for a year.

But, if that is not an option, I had the same problem and found I had
to register the name servers with NetSol in addition to OpenSRS, which
is what I also use. I didn't think this should have been necessary,
but it fixed the problem for me. At least NetSol doesn't charge for
this.
