Yes, that was a type. The file is actually called aliases.listar as
specified in the sendmail.cf file.
I have also found that I completely forgot about the virtusertable. Sendmail
was not forwarding any email to listar without out some entries in there.

Yes, listar is called by sendmail in pretty much the same way as majordomo.
I had to compile listar though from source, so I am not sure it that would
still classify it as a cgi.
Thanks for the comment about smrsh. That has actually helped me another step
further, as I was getting some errors after I finally had sendmail forward
emails to listar as it did not like the location it was sitting in.
Next problem now is that, listar does not seem to want to understand any
commands I send it. But that is definitely a case for the listar support
mailing list.
