You can't do it through the gui without creating websites, as each
something.domain.com is a separate domain to the webserver.

You can do it without setting up the entire Cobalt RaQ infrastructure,
by creating your own zones within /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf, but
teaching you how to administer apache is beyond the scope of this list
<wry grin>.

Buy one of the various apache books out there <smile>.

We offer this kind of work as a service, but depending on how many you
want set up, this could end up costing you a few dollars.
