Re: [cobalt-users] admin GUI on https?

Gerald,

You were dead on. I was using IE5.1 on MacOSX. As soon as I tried to login
using Netscape 6.2 (MacOSX) everything worked great. I've noticed in the
past that some features of the Qube (uploading users) don't work with IE on
the Mac either. So much for the theory of html being the universal computer
language... Though I knew that before, it's always "nice" to have it
demonstrated in your face by M$.

I just checked logging in from a PC using IE 5.5 on Windows Me. It logs in
fine as well. Guess it's just the Mac version of IE. Possibly just the OSX
version of IE.

Thanks for the great advice. Glad I posted to the list. Thanks. It sure
is nice seeing the ol' lock on the bottom of the browser. And tightening up
my security is going to help me sleep better at night. Now to install SSH
on my Raq4r! Is the knowledgebase the best place to refer to as I go ahead
with that?
