Re: [cobalt-users] The filesystem [/] is getting very full

To get a idea on whats taking up your disk space
go to the shell prompt and type "du -ah / | more"

du = disk usage"

On my Raq4i I'm getting this error message.

is getting very close to full. This is very dangerous for the server
and can cause unexpected errors to occur. You either need to move some
files to another storage device and delete them from the Cobalt server
or delete them altogether. Consult the documentation for help adding
storage to your Cobalt server.

Total disk space:  726.04 MB
Free disk space:  23.40 MB
Percent Used:  96 %

I looked through the archives for a solution and they mention moving the
/tmp directory over to the /home partition. This would work fine, but there
is nothing at all in the tmp directory. Does any one have any suggestions on
what I can safely delete or move? I do have MySQL installed and I'm pretty
sure that is the culprit to this problem.

Thanks in advance. Dave
