[cobalt-users] Startup cobalt software as Admin instead of root?

The user of a Cobalt machine filed this help desk problem. The Sysadmin for
these machines is no longer here.
 Can anyone tell me  the answer to this?

" When the production Cobalt box is booted, it starts up as root, which
causes permission problems on files. I have to stop the software, use root
to reset the owner of all the files to admin, and then restart the software
using admin.
We ask that the software be started with the admin account as opposed to
root.
On the test box, the software does not start up at all."
