Jason, it's good to be cautious. Just keep working your way up from the
bottom of the list and you should be fine. If you get to any patches that
were released recently I advise checking the archives for this list to see
if anyone has had problems with them. It shouldn't be a problem on a clean
box, but it's impossible for Cobalt QA to test for all 3rd party
combinations of software and user modifications that are used in the real
world so it's not uncommon for patches to be pulled or modified after
they're released. My rule of thumb is generally not to install a patch on a
production server until it's been 3 weeks since its release, unless it's a
particularly critical patch. I've been working with the RaQ since early
1999 and have been burned too many times. YMMV.
